We have been going for over a year and are very happy to be here. The church seems to have a lot of folks that really care about others and want to help them. It is inviting and familiar and the kids want to go back as well. It is not so large that we feel we never meet anyone, nor is it so small that they don't have anything to offer families.
When we are on vacation or otherwise away and we come back we are reminded that folks that follow Jesus are actually different in how they love others. It is something you observe rather easily here. The Grove is a wonderful, imperfect church that is inviting for imperfect people like me.

I was running late for an appointment. I called to let them know. They were ok with it. It took at least 10 minutes to find a parking spot. They have a 15 minute grace period and we were 20 minutes late. So after all of the trouble of getting out here they would not see my son. Parking is a major issue and we will not be back to this facility. Also, it’s very unprofessional for them not to see my son over a 5 minute discrepancy.

Clean, not hard to find parking. The ER wasn’t much of a wait both times I went. Got sent home with two pages of phone numbers and told it wasn’t a therapy office by rude doctors, had to explain my situation about 4 different times to 4 different doctors. Pretty disappointed and ended up back in there for the same exact reason I went. Bet they take things more seriously now.
We had to go to this hospital but we are from Indiana originally my mother has no family in California and she is not from California either. We went to this hospital and it was extremely messy. The nurses do not give their patience the time of day, and communication and bedside manners are horrible . My mom feels like she is dyin g and they will NOT let me talk to a patience advocate. They keep transferring me to a complaint line or back to the nurse . My moms color isn’t good , and she feels so sick. They refuse to let me talk to anyone above them to let someone know what’s going on. The nurses desk is rude and said I quote “hang up, tell her you have other calls” as I was trying to get information on my moms condition for the first time, and they told me that the others on hold were more important that my questions about my mother who just had surgery . I’m disappointed and disgusted to say the least . Please don’t go here , PLEASE choose another hospital. I wouldn’t take my PLANTS here. I’ve been in tears states away and haven’t gotten sleep worried sick about my mother, states away. This hospital and the people in it aren’t making matters better.

Office personnel have no perception of empathy or pleasantries. What happened, you ask? ... So ... it is completely understandable that things can run late. I arrived for my appointment, as scheduled, and they stated that the doctor was running an hour late. That would be fine, except that there was no courtesy notification prior to me leaving my job and needing to take vacation time. Also, and most importantly, there was zero notion of being apologetic when I arrived. I departed
their office feeling as if it was my fault in some way. I have never left a Yelp review before, but it feels right. How can you trust a health care provider if they cannot manage the professionalism part. This is my second chance with this branch, as i had a very bad feeling when i was there the first time a few years ago. As someone who is very nervous of going to any form of doctors office, I am happy to now have a reason to wait another 15 years before getting a check up. Also, for the record, i understand that if you have repeated problems in life, then you really need to start being introspective; it is probably you..... I promise you this, I told my situation honestly and as accurately, as I remember it, and everyone concurs. Thank you for listening. My suggestion.... talk to your staff about people skills and more importantly, communicate when things are amiss in scheduling. Johnson dental down the way gives you a smile every time you walk in. That at least starts it off correctly.

waited way too long. over 3 hours
update: 4.5 hours later they left me in a room mid test for 20 minutes
update2: doctor left the room to go see about something and never came back. I ended up walking out as they were closing after a nurse opened the door and said they forgot about me.

Stay away! Never leave your older family members (night shift is the worse) unattended. NOT all are employees of St. John’s Hospital, but contracted through an agency, therefore, their loyalties lie with who pays their bills! Not the patients lying in the hospital depending upon them. When nurses tell patients no medication, causing ruptures in the area just corrected. Please watch your families. Take control! I have reported this issue to hospital, worker removed, but be careful. Remember, your the patient, speak up when your able, you have rights! Enforce them..
